Internship Information
Chen & Associates provides exciting opportunities for future Civil and Environmental Engineers in our company. Internships can be offered to students at 20 hours a week. Interns can work during their summer break or during their college studies. We offer internships in our Broward and Miami-Dade offices, to accommodate transportation for students.
The intern will work with Engineering staff to assist in all aspects of our company. This can include design and construction, management, inspection and marketing. Typical work can range from CAD and GIS drafting, specification writing, construction inspection, and engineering design work.
We expect successful candidates to demonstrate leadership and persuasive skills, strong work ethic, and entrepreneurial spirit. In return, Chen & Associates helps interns gain real world experience by performing the duties of their full-time counterparts. They manage projects independently and obtain constructive feedback from supervisors through a formal review program.
Compensation consists of a competitive salary and reimbursement of all expenses occurring during work.
