Chen and Associates prepared conceptual plans of transportation related improvements to the Fort Lauderdale Barrier Island for funding consideration by FDOT. Improvements include replacing the roadway lighting along SR A1A with 'turtle safe' lighting, trolley stop / transit improvements and a new ingress / egress at the south end of the South Beach parking lot. The deliverables will include multiple conceptual renderings, plans and estimates for review by Staff, Commission and the public, as well as final submission to FDOT.
